    Carjam

    How awesome is carjam.
To get a report that would cost $25 on the AA website for $12 on Carjam (11 if you sign up).
It's so good to be able to look for a bike and get the report on it instead of waiting for the last second trying not to waste 30 bucks.

its good but unreliable with information mostly about the kms a vehicle has done.
I found that out when i was trying to sell a car that had done 75000kms, carjam said it had done 178000kms.
You wouldn't beleive how many people trusted carjam and refused to buy my car, yet were extremely keen if the kms were genuine.
I would have got a lot more money for it too, instead I lost 2g.
All you have to do, is goto trademe, check the kms of 3 private selling cars on carjam, and I bet at least one will have totally different kms.

Well they just go by what your latest warrant of fitness said. and then estimate your current km's on the average of your daily usage over the years, and it does state it is an Estimate. if it says you've done 178, id go back to the place i got my wof and ask what its all about

Surprisingly up to date. I'm sitting waiting for the dealer who is doing the WOF on one of our work wagons and a trailer this afternoon, to phone to say they're done.

I've checked on-line using http://www.checka.co.nz/ , and sure enough, both have WOFs issued today. Guess I can go and pick them up.

Used it last week when we were hunting for a second hand car for kanny.
Very detailed, saves alot of worry with regards to loans held against vehicles etc.

Carfax (car -facts) was logical, but they got hit with a cease and desist order- somebody already owned it. So they ahd to change it quickly.

You'll most likely find that was your last warrant inspector not Carjam.

I got a WOF at something like 10,800 kms - checked on Carjam a week later and it showed 108,000 kms. WTF - I rang the WOF place and it turned out they have put a extra zero in the computer when entering the data. They corrected it and it is all true now.

Consequently I check Carjam after each WOF now.

Carjam, Toejam, Cameltoe - just be careful out there with your Google searches.
