    You run that in sept-oct don't you, by then the Napier-Taihape rd might be nearly fully sealed. Have a read of this thread

    I'm keen on doing this later on in the year, I was looking at doing it after the GC last year, but them plans got shafted ended up missing the GC also

    That is always the way of a good route.. you forget its' name quickly afterwards.. Sometimes you even forget its' name during the route, and a few times even beforehand!
