No, you've failed your test as a motorcyclist. You didn't vow to hunt down the driver personally and make sure him and his entire family are wiped out. The fact you even mentioned "wait for the facts" and didn't jump to conclusions with the small amount of information provided shows you're not "for the cause" for shame!

In his own vivid imagination , Ohh and a seeming endless need to pass blame to anyone possible.

No motorbike involved - check out stuff - here is the latest-
LATEST: A 42-year-old woman is dead following a crash on Springs Road and Marshs Road, near Prebbleton.

Police say the crash involved a cyclist and a car.

Inspector Paul Fremaux, of southern police communications, said the car had left the scene after the accident and the police wanted to track it down and interview the driver.

There were few other details about the accident which happened around 7.15am.

"A vehicle left the scene and we are interested in locating that and identifying and interviewing the driver,'' said Fremaux.

Any witnesses to the accident should contact police on 03 363 7400.

Springs Road was now open to traffic.

    1:46 PM Wednesday May 26, 2010

A woman hit by a car while cycling in Christchurch this morning has died in hospital.

Police said they were still seeking the driver of the car believed to have been involved in the collision about 7.15am at the intersection of Marshs and Springs Road.

Next of kin are still being informed of the cyclist's death but police said she was 42-years-old and lived in Prebbleton.

Any witnesses should contact Christchurch South Police Station on 03-363-2500.

Cyclist or biker, a person lost their life, so a tragedy for their family and friends, but perhaps it just turned out to be less relevant in this particular forum?

Knowing the stench of Kiwibiker hypocrisy like we do though, I wouldn't be surprised if suddenly we've got people on here thinking "silly bitch probably deserved it".

Oh there's probably some. Regardless of mode of two-wheeled transportation, there is still a life lost that could've been avoided. There's a lesson to be learnt when riding anything in conditions like we're experiencing down here at the moment, be aware of your environment at all times and make sure you've been seen by other road users. Not saying the cyclist did anything wrong, we don't have the full story. But with driving torrential rain like this it's even more critical to have your mind 100% on the job.
