Turns out like alot of posts I do know what I'm talking about I have had a few dealing with the police for all sorts of different reasons not just traffic also I have a few of mates joined the police force & they did so to do what was shown in the video, what are they doing? Not that! they're stuck being forced to help operate the "traffic scams" & bring in the $$$. If I remember right I think they said they have to do something like 5-10yrs of "traffic scams" before they are eligible to move on & become real police as shown in the vid.
80% of our frontline are operating "traffic scams", they prioritize the money making above all else incl. but not limited to theft, child abuse, drownings.

It is better to apear stupid than to open ones mouth and remove all doubt.

Bullshit. Over half a century or so, I've called on the cops for assistance quite a few times. Mainly when I was younger and more naive. Because I needed help, or (more often) someone else did. Sometimes *really* needed them. A couple of times, *really, really*. They were never there. Ever. Never even got a taxi. A most a phone call days later, after it had all gone down.

This adulatory nonsense keeps being served up about "the police being there to help you". Humbug. They're not Boy Scouts, or Mummy's Little Helper. They're there to lock people up, or, failing that, at least give them a ticket. If they can't lock you up, or give you a ticket, they're not interested. At most you might benefit from the collateral if they lock someone else up

If you're in trouble, don't rely on the police to help you. It's down to you. Sort it out yourself, if it's too big, call up some mates. If it's already happened, write it off and move on. Burgled? Bashed? Molested? Cops won't want to know. Suck it up, and deal with it. Someone else being dealt to? Just move along, because if you stick your nose in, odds are *you'll* be the one locked up. Think about it - you call the cops. Before they get there, crims move on. So when the cops arrive, all they have is a victim (who probably has no memory what happened) , and one other person - you. So, who's going to get locked up there ? Yep.

Only reason to involve cops, is peremptive (doddering idiot looks like he might be going to *555 you ? *555 him first); or because an insurance company needs the form - which is all the police action will be.

And if you think this is just the response of a grumpy old man - try asking Mrs Ixion her opinion of the police. Mrs Ixion is the very picture of the respectable, authority respecting middle aged lady. But , if it were not that she never swears, the air would be purple. Even without swear words, she manages to be very forthright about the failings of the modern police force. Much more so than me. For the same reasons.

And, I don't hate cops. Most of them (Gingacunts excepted - I wonder if he's the one in the shit in Waitemata district?) they're OK guys , in themselves. Just that as far as the ordinary citizen is concerned, they're no use and potentially trouble. Best kept well clear of
