You'll be seriously surprised at the LACK of accidents they have.
Turbans. Wherever they're from (Probably Sikh actually). I like Indians everywhere except driving. They just seem to be such ratshit taxi drivers. which given that taxi drivers are ratshit at best, means that they are the ratshit of ratshit.

I very much doubt that the ones driving taxis here were taxi drivers in India (or Punjab or wherever). Which is probably the problem.

Out here people depend on road rules so much - they simply drive/ ride half asleep at times.

I'm not saying don't follow the road rules - PLEASE DO. But also develop good hazard recognition skills.
yeah thats because you cant ride a horse into another horse. They simply wont do it.

After 40 years I can SMELL the hazards. Which is why said taxi driver U turning is a grumble not a tragedy.

I assume ALL taxis are a hazard. Tis right about 50% of the time.

yeah they were probably doctors or other skill whose qualifications aren't recognised in NZ.

It's not the race - it's the job. The greeks in melbourne are the same.

Yup you're right - a lot of Taxi drivers come into the county through spending a lot of money bribing bastard immigration agents. Go Winston Peter I say .

So they aren't exactly qualified to drive taxi's, matter of fact I bet half of them had their own drivers (cheap labour) back home.

Another thing you need to realise is that they operate under similar conditions to courier drivers (people instead of parcels) hence the on the job mentality.

Yes, agreed. And I've encountered some very good Indian doctors and surgeons .(I've not actually needed their services myself, but they seem both pleasant and competant). Put them in a taxi and it's another matter.

Yup, isn't that so sad. Bit of a tragedy really. Given the fucktards who actually run bigger places.

You can actually. I rode a horse into a horse being ridden by Mrs Ixion. Neither the horses nor Mrs Ixion were amused.

They certainly will. Try doing a cavalcade and have a look at the number of horses with red ribbons in their tails. That's there as a warning that if another horse is ridden into them then look out. We've started adding an extra ribbon for every time she connects, so far she managed 4 in one week.
    Time to ride

Mate going fast around corners is just as dangerous as riding fast on a straight.

As someone has already pointed out riding at 30kph can be dangerous.

The faster you go the less time you have to avoid and stop, there isnt some magical speed that makes you an unsafe rider. 50kph provides less time than riding at 20kph.

So stop bagging riders you dont know and havent ridden with.
