    What a speeder

    http://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/ar...ectid=10660213

A Saudi Arabian tourist caught driving between 130km/h and 140km/h near Te Anau told a judge that he was not aware what the speed limit was.

Eiad Abdelmohsen Alfares, 51, professor and practising doctor, appeared in Invercargill District Court charged with driving dangerously on July 17, the Southland Times, reported.

After being caught by police Alfares pleaded ignorance saying his rental company did not tell him what the speed limit was.

Judge Dominic Flatley, however, found this hard to believe telling Alfares that New Zealand roads were not a race track.

Alfares was fined $2000 and disqualified from driving for six months.
Last time i got that speed, i got a $600 fine and 50 demerits. Seems a tad harsh?
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot

You probably admitted you were being a little naughty though.

Different kettle o' fish trying to plead ignorance when it's very unlikely to be the case.

and there is a million 100K signs (and other matching speed signs) on our roads.

This prat was supposedly smart enough to be a professor and a doctor??
1/- If he didn't click onto the signs he's a dumb twat
2/- If he thought this excuse would even fly he's a bigger dumb twat

I sure wouldn't want him doctoring on me!!

WTF was he thinking?? OH he wasn't?? Deserved what he got in my book!
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

A friend of mine had a university professor drive his car in to the garage to be fixed because it was making funny noises and the oil light on the dash wasn't going off like normal.

Educated, yes. Intelligent, sometimes. Smart, no.

Almost as dumb as say "What, this isn't Germany? And that wasn't the Autoban?"

Hate to know how many die under his 'care' if he doesn't even know the speed limit. Maybe he can't read numbers?

They are hoping for payment in oil.

DB could pull that one off nicely. There's several years worth of proof on KB that he can cite.

Yeah ... me too ... and that took me past 100 demerit points - which is why I am now walking ... six weeks to go ...
