    Arrow CAREFUL !!!!!!!!

Hey people ,just a little grizzle and a note, especially to new riders.

I have been commuting on the bike for the last two weeks, and in this time I have been cut off at intersections 3 times so far

1/ small Roundabout, car shot right through infront of me
2/ same roundabout same thing different car and day
3/ Car pulled out from a side road in front of me

Why I say all this is that despite my bike being bright green and my headlights on they didnt see me, WHY ???

They all had fogged and iced up windows, so they couldnt see me clearly.
I know they are stupid and lazy arseholes but please especially in the winter take particular care of these idiots.

I was lucky as I was way ahead of all of these fools so I had stopped well in advance and let them have a dose of angry biker, so please make sure your ready for this as well and ride CAREFULLY IN TRAFFIC

Good on ya and see ya later

Hey Quas! Harden up you poof. If you rode at a semi decent pace on that Kumandsukme, people wouldn't try to fit into the gaps you leave.

It never ceases to amaze me that people don't know how to demist their cars! When I see a late model car (that prolly has air-con as standard) all misted up and the drivers got the window down, it makes me laugh. Turn up the heater and turn on the air con!! Silly gits.

And uhh... beware of the festive dog making sport in the roadway. I got chased by two big mean ones... pity it was a roundabout infront of me, but I still whipped them dangerous though. I thaught only John attracted dogs (happened once with me before he got taken out for good).

No, Ubiquitous Dog is , hm, well, ubiquitous.

He lunged from a farm gateway and chased me on Sunday evening (well, chased Li'l Rat Bike anyway, who squeaked in fright , and backfired at him . Futile of course).

Fortunately I'm a better rider than he is a lunger (doesn't say much for his lunging skills, mind) and I outsped him. And had the satisfacton of riding through a large puddle and splashing dirty water all over him. Hope he got a bollocking for coming home dirty.

Why on earth do they always try to assault the front wheel I wonder.

took the zuki out today in the country. theres a long straight before you get the semi open road, i was toodlin up there, doing about 45, saw a van back out of a driveway a lil ways ahead. passenger saw me, she was lookin right at me [made eye contact as i got closer] and bugger me is they dont stop with their ass hanging over the centre line, and their nose still in the gutter. there was another van coming from the other side, but plenty of room to move around them, dopey bastards. would have been sooo easy for them to drive back in.

ah well, sunhuntin has decided she likes the country....good speeds, not much traffic. freedom

Hmm, good point. I always squeegee and de-fog my windows before heading out in the mornings but I guess most people wouldn't think of it.

    Thanks for the tip.
