    Who did the most ?

Well long weekend over now so who did the most K's since Friday ?
My self 720k's over 3 days . 3 great rides todays was abit cold ,went with a friend with a 04 Truxton which he has put some Thunderbike mufflers on it & Man it sounded SWEET . Goes well seen 180k's a couple of times but mainly 140 -160 . Meet up with Funkyfly who was having a beer at the local pub plus a couple of other local riders out making the most of the fine weather .
So who is the Mile eater to be ????

Bugger all for me. I had to werk Saturday and sunday, so all I got was a little tootle to Helensville and back. And commuting distance. Couple of hundred k's

And today I didn't get out at all. Changing transmission oil, oiling chains, touching up paintwork on the Pajero, lots of other maintainence stuff and WASHING THE WHALE.

I *HATE* washing bikes. I don't how some of you fellows can do it the way you do, toothbrushes even.

I went from Auckland to Wellington through the longest way via Napier and shit cause the usual roads were closed, then I went from Wellington to New Plymouth and back to Wellington on one night, then I went from Wellington to Auckland, all within 3 days.

It's not on a bike but does that still count?

531km... but lots of that on gravel so it feels like 531 miles.

Down to Waitomo Sat am via the bottom of SH22 (nasty roadworks - don't go there on a roadie). Skirted Bridal Veil Falls onto Aotea Harbour. Skirted Kawhia Harbour and on down Hauturu Road. Excellent ride, wet all the way!

This afternoon, back via Hauturu, different way to Bridal Veil, then west onto the coast and followed it north to Raglan. Gave up due to sunstrike, so from there directly home, apart from doubling back to Huntly for fuel... joys of a new bike with uncertain fuel range.

Excellent familiarisation trip with the 640 Adventure. The feckin thing hoots along the gravel! Looks [nearly] as dirty as the Triumph boys got yesterday.
