I would be quite carefull with this bike anyway. a bike from 1989.... having done only 6000km ? hmmm. Guess it could be true but ..... sounds a bit strange. Even if it didn't get rego'ed til 95.... thats 10 years of driving .....If the tires are original theyd be 16years old..... and its an import....

The guy's a back yard dealer, check his selling history.

He bought that bike on Jun 1 for $2600, now he's flicking it on for a quick profit. Anything he knows is just what he was told by the last seller.

Okay, aside from this guy being a backyard dealer, John you came right out and contradicted his advertisement! He probably thought at first it was a 'Pt' cos what twit (with respect to all good twits) would possibly ask the seller your question assuming that it had been raced when the ad specifically states at the end of the first paragraph: "IMPORTED LAST YEAR IN ORIGINAL CONDITION, NEVER RACED."

Read the ad next time John, no sympathy here dude.

Seems like a pretty aggressive question when you know nothing of the bike or trader - like,what sort of responce do you expect?? Or do you know more than you are telling??
