Bastard was when I finally got the cast off and my atrophied muscles wouldn't let me lift the jug to make a coffee, let alone ride a bike or abseil - I'd grown reliant on the plaster cast giving my wrist strength.

The period during which I gradually built up enough wrist strength to ride again was one of the most frustrating times in my life.

should get the bike to a vet asap. After riding through cowshit a couple of weeks ago mine's developed headshakes and wobbles on long sweepers. Think it could be mad cow disease. (or maybe it's too good a copy of the old Bonnies)

Ummmm, the bike. Though it's also good to hear that a certain someone who thinks he's the shit, can be replaced with a bunch of energisers, when there's a need!

Well with a defeatist attitude like that, it's no wonder. Where's the "fight" in ya?
