Never heard of them B0000M but I must say I'd pay the extra hundy and pay for the Wiesco or factorys good manufacturing history. Bloody hard to suss them out till you've used a few and seen if they crack etc. Still we are probably paying to much for the name brand ones and these could be fine. Up to you mate do you risk it or not???

Where do they say they are made??

Second thing I noticed was the very little "NZ$ convert" thingy on there? Does this mean the prices are USD and need to be converted to NZD. Its quite unclear on the web site. Now that would make a big difference. It would bring your 250 piston kit up to about $245-00NZD. I came up with this theory when looking at the Ktm gripper seat/sticker kit combination for only $139-00. Seemed to cheap to be true! the graphics kits are $250-00 in the shop without the seat cover??
You better check it out further and let us know!

MITAKA dirt bike engine parts are number one selling manufacture of dirt bike parts in the UK and also one of the top in Europe so you know you are purchasing a high quality product that has been tried and test, purchase all your hard dirt bike engine parts here at Motocross Parts.
this sounds interesting, maybe have a look on the pomi dirt bike forums and see if they say anything about MITAKA
we may just go where no ones been

The RZ guys have done a lot of arguing about Mitaka pistons.

General consensus is that they are OK, sort of, but tend not to last as long as other brands. Some people have had bad experiences. But then some people have probably had bad experiences with other brands

There's a LOT of debate about whether it is a good or bad thing to use the ring expander.

They're a cast piston not forged like Wiseco. Which is good, and bad.

Cheers for that mate for that! I never had a problem with Wiesco although I am one of these guys that always warms the bike before riding like you have to with a forged piston.

yeah i've had JE pistons from MXparts they're super helpful. Old fella i dealt with seemed to know his shit. I think they're members on here too. they did a bit of shameless self promotion a while ago on a few threads. I've never heard of that brand before either BOOM but Taiwanese don't sound as good as American does it. I'd buy it and try it 'cos i'm a cheap bastard and if you have problems i'm sure the fellas at MXparts will sort you out (ask first)

Yeah I got some weird brand for the RM once, it turned out to be Athena. I'd just be very wary of cheap parts in a performace machine. an extra $100 for a piston is cheap compaired to $1000 for a new cylinder. And I only need a new piston ever 2 years (50 hours) lol!!!!!!!!!!!!
