It's easier to list the bits that are still good - back but not my neck and my left wrist. Everything else is so screwed it dislocates when I turn over in bed or aches like hell in the cold.

My worst accident of any kind was caused by my socks. Nine stitches in my face, wrecked shoulder, probably a broken nose. Face hurts when the barometer drops.
I just KNOW I'm going to regret this, but, ??? SOCKS ????. The world wonders ?

Havnt had a crash in 6 months... but in saying that i will probably bin it at manfield on the 25th of June...

As i said in my reasons for crashing... only 1 was a learning mistake (unlucky that a car was coming the other way, how many people have gone wide on a corner) and 2 were because i was being a dickhead (all done in quiet areas at low speed) The RGV crash could have been stopped by myself pulling in the clutch quicker but i didnt so i highsided, The 600 crash was a "shit happens" because of the desiel. The 8th one i forgot, was i got rearended by a car. and the other two are on the track... I dont really see a problem with that...

Many people here have ridden with me, and know what kind of rider i am, skill level I have... I have also clocked up over 45000km worth of riding, so you cant exactly call me inexperienced...

I burnt my finger once after replacing my broken sparkplug and poking the header with my fingered glove to see if the cylinder was working! Thats about it.

Heh want to talk stupid mistakes like that...

Had the shift lever on the CMX go down past where it was suposed to be once and I got off and had to fight it to get it back up. Grabed piece of frame (or so I thought) to get some leverage on it and a few seconds later was running around shouting curse words and the lot. Damn exhaust header... Didn't leave any marks though.

Used to have two fingers where the skin on the inside of the finger was all white and dead, no feeling at all, from picking up a piece of hot metal when welding. Was like that for years, then it went away, all good now.

    That must count

I'm hoping it involved a polished wood floor - I'd hate to think that another person's socks can kill at twenty paces...

Apart from the Ole BMX knee, I had to go to the hospital again the Monday, back on crutchs and knee brace ( Pfft ). And booked a loverly appointment with the Orthopaedic surgeon.
Nobody ever told you not to close your fingers over your thumb when you make a fist, did they?

Good luck with the op and recovery.

Again! You seem to have regenerated from practically everything known to damage humankind. Your ancestors didn't "dally" with a few starfish or axolotyls at any stage, did they?

I also recall you've ridden bikes my grandfather told me about - I'm beginning to suspect you're some kind of Immortal...
