Need to change my vote.... I have succumed to the requirements of family live and have added class 1 to my licence.

So now I can (legally) drive a car... not that I want to or would do unless I have to...

This poll is less than politic. I don't give a rat's banana for Spank Me's reasons. Let's just say I feel like I've wasted a couple of years contributing to a "community".

I've lost that loving feeling for sure.

Jeez J2 keep ya shirt on ol' son. Methinks you're reading too much into the criticism. Spank's reason............for the poll? Maybe he just wanted to know how many here are like himself.

    What he said.

We, all of us, owe SpankMe HUGE for the KB site and this forum --

but that notwithstanding, this thread has proved, regrettably, that he is as capable of starting an ill-advised, biased, sanctimonious, divisive thread as any of the rest of us on here.

Welcome to the human race, SpankMe - its all a learning experience, innit

Well sadly i have to vote option 4. I would love to say i hate my car...but i dont. It is relatively fast compared to most road cars and handles like its glued to the road...how can i hate it??? it is nearly as much fun in the twistiesd as the bike...plus there is the sound of a spooling up turbo...mmm doesn't beat the bike at 18000rpm tho!

    Option 4

    This cunting ends it!

I'm a real biker! I own a cage (partly). I fucken have to, I have two kids (partly). I don't own a bike, yet I manage to scab one each day for the ride to work. I ride in the rain, the snow, the wind, the hail and whatever else NZs crappy weather can throw at me. I've ridden from here to Wellington in 6 hours via Wanga-vegas and the Parapara's. I've done Wellington-Auckland-Wellington in one stint. I've gone Paraparaumu to Wgtn on a GSXR thou' at 100kph and NO FASTER! (That was the hardest) I've met and mingled and GOT ON WITH people who ride Harley-Davidsons/Yamahas/Hondas/Kawasakis/Suzukis/MininMotos/Quads/Farmbikes/MotoCrossers/Enduros/Trikes/Sidecars/Nortons/MotoGuzzis/Ducatis/Hyosungs and some of my best friends ride FUCKEN TRIUMPHs for Christs sake. I've probably met more individual bikers than anyone on this site.

    Yes. I'm a real biker.

    im a real baby biker

i prefer my bike over any other form of transport, and that includes not using
buses and taxis when its pissing down. i ride no matter what the weather. nothing thrills me more than riding across cobham bridge at night with a nice wind coming in off the ocean

i dont know how to drive a car....heck i know where the key goes, how to fill one with gas, but as far as turning the engine over and moving in one...yeh right mate! even quad bikes scare the shit outta me. my old man taught me to drive his ride on lawn mower last year....even how to back a trailer with it, but give me two wheels any day!!

although i must admit...when the summer sun sets in, i will walk to the gym instead of ride...maybe. LOL.

I manage to put a hacksaw into the top of one of my toes.

Doh!, quickly grab toe and put pressure on the bleeding bit.
Now race upstairs to clean it up and put a plaster on it...
    Ummm....
You ever tried getting up stairs whilst bent over holding your own toe?
Hopping works ok for the first 1 or 2 steps...

Well if we're on the subject, although I haven't hit my toes with a hammer...

1 garden fork through left foot
1 curved tree saw through left thumb... funniest part was it was a big cut, but didn't lose the tip, yet when it healed it seemed to shorten a bit
    Many hammers onto fingers...

But I'm lucky, nothing is missing yet. Still in one piece
