    Bah....

There's nothing wrong with my "original equipment" thanks... (well, ok it's not as good as your suggestion, but it works quite well thank you)

I bet honking THAT at a car will piss them off big time

    Hm

That thing would be a pig to mount on a bike. It's a big lump and they only provide one tiddly little bolt to hold it on. Could be hard to find a big enough space on a bike to shove that into.

It looks like the same compressor I've got on mine, and I was quite disappointed with them

Thing is I think, there are two things to consider, the LOUDNESS and the AMOUNT of noise. The ones I have are loud OK, but there's not much QUANTITY of sound to it.

Summit to do wiv frequencies or summit I guess. Or pumpkins maybe? Dunno, but I wanted sumthin that sounded like the Queen Mary about to run you down, and got something that sounded like an angry mouse if you stood on its tail.

lol.. very descriptive.. I thought one thing about airhorns is that you can adjust the pitch? Or is that not always the case?

Hm . Not on mine. Unless I missed something. I must ahve a look, could be. But they were very cheap crap from Supercheap, so I guess I probably got what I paid for. I also have a set of Hellas, that I am going to fit instead, and pass the Supercraps on to Mrs Ixion

well it's not meant to stick on the nose cone of the bike. You're meant to hide it. And the one(s) he's selling are black too, so they won't stick out too much if they're on a hog and can't be hidden. Could always see how much it'd cost to chrome them.. and the dimensions aren't that big, for what it is..

    Reckless misuse of a horn-$150

Knowing that you have woken up a neighbourhood with it - Priceless
The world will look up and shout "Save Us!", and I'll whisper "no"

I heard of someone who had a set that sounded like a truck.

There was still a problem because everyone was looking for a truck and didn't see the bike.

I haven't got time to use the horn, too busy avoiding and swearing.
