At least it ain't that bad. Like you said, it would have been a lot worst on the pocket if it was a sports bike with a lot of expensive plastic bits.

Let me know if you need a spanner or shed to straighten stuff up...

Hate to say it but yes... it happens to us all... I dropped the RF one time... wheeling it backwards and the rear tyre went 1/2 up onto a block of wood...

200kg of bike lurching sideways while I'm sitting on top of it... not good!

    Doesn't seem to take much!
No, I haven't dropped the VifFerraRi, but came close(ish) last night. Was backing it out of the parking gargre in the parking gargre at work [no, that's not a mistype - we have a gargre (complete with tiltadoor) inside the parking gargre], when my left foot suddenly lost traction. Was a squashed milk bottle cap on the concrete. Man, PE is VERY slippery on smooth concrete. As is squashed softdrink can on asphalt...
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

Yes drive ways are quite underated in their hazardness's. Nails, mud, potholes, dog shit, ice, low flying magpies, dead cats, you name it. The open road is much safer

What a pack of amatures, Fliped an offroader buggy over twice then slamed it into my wifes car that was parked at the bottem of the drive!

Bummer. Still, you were safe, no damage except to dignity. Happens to everybody. You haven't dropped it taking it off the stand yet. You will. don't sweat it.

Arghh, I feel for you. I dropped the Virago a few weeks ago, mine was locking the front wheel on the wet grass verge outside our house. Had to get the other half out to help me lift it, with the curtains twitching discreetly up and down the street.

Still, it's a good reminder about how quickly things can go wrong on a bike, even at low speed.

Glad to hear there wasn't too much damage, to you or the bike. And the pride and ego will recover pretty quick!

LOL A stepson put on a show on the weekend. Thought he'd show off to the girl next door by trying to jump the wooden gate in the centre. Quite funny to watch, I was polishing the GB, as he slipped and landed square in the middle breaking the top rail. Fitted a new galvenised one yesterday.

My VFR750 fell off the sidestand and onto the father-in-law's car. Did nothing to the bike, but cost me $500 to have his front guard panelbeated and painted.
