    Cool

wallet normally in back pocket of jeans.
But at the mo in the pocket of the jacket.
Or in the backpack if I take that.

cellphone normally in cell phone leather holder attached to belt on jeans.
But at the mo... in a little zip up part of the jacket.
or I can fit it into the pocket of the bike pants I just got (thanks lou).

Tch, tch You always go over the top and get ridiculous . A sawn-off 12 guage is perfectly adequate for any situation you may encounter, and has a reasonable chance of hitting the target from a moving motorcycle, unlike your silly P99. and you can fire it with gloves on, AND it will fit in the panniers. Lets keep it practical, eh . I guess though we should bow to Mr Waylander's opinion since being a Texan he will presumably have experience in such matters ?

Glock 17 actually. Decent power and able to shoot straight at high speeds. Also fits well tucked into your belt at your back. Makes for easy draw though if you're right handed it's hard to shoot anything to your left and vice versa.

But presumably you must always fire left handed , since the right is needed for the throttle ?

That's what cruise control is for. My left hand shots are crap, not enough wrist strength
Edit: Just a thought, get the 17C that way there is less kickback.

But very few bikes have cruise control outside the USA. I had not realised that this was one of its selling features.

Could we please get this thread renamed "Where do you keep your arsenal when riding "

Few bike in the States come with it either. It's a modified feature.

It depends - if I am taking a backpack and will be walking around when I get there, I put both in my backpack (with the BMW I usually use the backpack as the bike looks odd without it!), but if I am just popping out for a ride and coming home again, I usually have my wallet in one outside pocket and my phone in the other.

If pillioning and the rider isn't taking the panniers, I just put them in my pockets. I put the phone in a plastic bag if it looks like rain too.
Yes, I am pedantic about spelling and grammar so get used to it!

Waylander, you can keep that 17, I'll stick with a 21.

But seriously, the phone travels on the person (in a plastic bag if it's raining).
The thought occurs that if I was lying in a paddock with my foot pointing the wrong way and the bike some distance away, the phone wouldn't be much use in the tank bag.

I am enough of a realist, however, to know that should this situation arise Murphy would ensure it was in an area with no coverage.

Wallet usually in back pocket of jeans and mobile in outer pocket of jacket. If I'm taking a bag/pack with me they both go in there.
