Remember to never split an infinitive. The passive voice should never be used. Do not put statements in the negative form. Proofread carefully to see if you words out. And don't start a sentence with a conjugation. (William Safire)
hyow about a ride to work slow day ppl in auckland hamilton wellington and of the sorts ride your bikes slow to work not by your self but as a group.
you do this a few times ppl will sit up and take note auckland would be stuffed for owers it would let ppl know we r not there for target practice
oh that is right it wont work cause bikers and motorcycle riders dont like to sturr up mud and it goes on and on and evry one points the finger at the other team.
when some one wants to do something about it pm me and i will be there pity about most of you soft cocks .
one person can start not much but you think 100 bikers on the southen ,100 on the easten,100 on the northen and the rest on the harbor bridge i think ppl will start to listen and then maybe cars would have to look out cause we ant going to take this shit any more
well year nothing will happen cause evry one is to bizy talking shit some one in auckland start that and i will come up to it and ride in it and love it![]()
That huge bike ride thing is an awesome idea... would be good in decent traffic so alot of people see it.. then they could all filter past ;D
Would be good, don't know if we would have the numbers for 100 on each major motorway... but worth a try.
Do it in summer when its more appealing.

when I can be bothered to visit anymore that "Bronz should do this and why dont BRONZ do that etc"
First Question is 'Are you a member of BRONZ' if the answer is yes then why dont you bring your ideas up at a meeting.
If NO then what the fuck "do you want them to read your mind"
DOnt fucking bitch about things here join up, get involved. vote out the latte drinkers on the committee but be prepared to get of your whinging arse and take their place if you are not prepared to do that SHUT the fuck up.
Trip, trop, trip, trop, on my bridge, who's that walking on my bridge. Why it's you little Billy Goat, HO,HO,HO Im going to eat you up.
So sayeth the TROLL
Nice to have you back Bunny, always with a pithy quote to liven things up.Originally Posted by bondagebunny
But, do you not think that BRONZ should be dealing with the self-evident issues already.
Perhaps people don't join because BRONZ are low-profile ineffectives.

Their meetings clash with my work.
I'm currently drafting them an email to send to the DCC about things.

2. AGM once a year (later this month). Needs enough of a lobby to oust the latte drinkers, one lone voice doesn't get anywhere. But I'll be there anyway.
Bit like saying "if you're not going to stand for Parliament you're not allowed to be critical of amything the Governemnt do, isn't it ?

But use wimpy excuses for not paying your bucks to the only representation you have.
I happen to agree that some of the people involved in some branches would not be my choice but then I do pay my money and I do make my voice heard when I fell strongly enuff.
I have never been happy with a high up in the ACC (who is a m/c rider) being on the BRONZ committee when BRONZ is against raising ACC fees - but he is only one bloke
and the majority seem to be happy.
I agree that the BRONZ profile is to low - but it aint going to get higher by people bitchuing and dragging it down - join up - it is less than a tank of Gas . Have your say,
vote out the dead beats - but be prepared to fill their shoes.

Whatever they are doing should be on their website for all to read.
http://www.bronz.org.nz/
Sent emails to every address on their website (which I think I pretty much know backwards now - not hard since it is hardly ever updated) , asking what their position was regarding Ride To Work DayOriginally Posted by bondagebunny
Otago branch replied, saying they would "pass it to the committee". None of the others even bothered to acknowledge.
Send two previous emails (one about cheescutters, can't remember the other one) No reply, no acknowledgement.
Sent a snail mail about something in the newsltter before last. Included snail mail addy (which they obviosuly knwo) and email. No reply.
I always read the newletters , though there is stuff all in them. Last one was just a ride report.
Whole point of a lobby group is to lobby. Don't suppose the politicians are mind readers either. Maybe BRONZ are thinking wonderful thoughts over their lattes. But as they can't be bothered ever to tell anyone what those thoughts are , it doesn't achieve much.
Hard not to be ignorant when it's damn near impossible to find out anything. Dare say if you happen to be a personal latte buddy of someone on the committee it's fine. For anyone else, they actively don't want anything to be known.
Reckon Mr Jackrat had them pretty well sussed.
Would also suggest you might want to check what I have asked for before making too many assumptions.
