Finally, A bike shop in east Dorkland

Well, soon , anyway, they say

Botany Honda tis to be , according to the ad in the local rag. "Opening soon". sounds like the full monty, new and used bikes, accessories, parts, and service.

Been a right pain having nothing betwixt Papakura and NewMarket. (A couple of bike wreckers and small scale operations I know, but no full blown franchise operation)

3 Trugood Drive, of Te Rakau Drive for anyone interested . 2742727

No connection with them, just saw the ad in the paper. It will be a convenience.

Shitloads too much bro - our old place (rental) went for over 450,000 and it was just a 3 brm ordinary old house on chapel road.....I reckon $180 to 200k worth of house and 100 of land at the most! The landlord actually said (when he was telling us that he was selling up!) that he had bought the place not 18 months before with the intention of selling it in under 2 years as the area boomed......guess he was right then huh?

Also the temple up the road is good luck apparently....not for me, I almost got taken out by someone coming out of it's driveway once.

But yeah a bike shop is distinctivley lacking round 'ere!

Yeah - once upon a time that area had some cheap houses - not they're shocking.

And yeah - houses near a church/temple/mosque/whateveryoulike are really good luck and bring great wealth and prosperity.

If you don't believe me go ask a real-estate agent. ..........

Should catch up and do that ZZR ride some time how bout in around 2 Sundays?? - know of two other ZZR's from KB hopefully we can drag them along too.

Used to go blackberrying there as a kid....used to ride on the gravel roads as a teenager.....I go there now and get lost....and sad....and angry for loss of farmland.

Mostest furthest east was Panmure Motorcycles, but they started after I became a Westy.

nah...I've decided that whilst bikes are cool, the Honda Civic, circa 1983 is the ultimate vehicle.

    YEAH RIGHT.

    Looking at a CBR600RR

Yeah, I watched the trees and green fields steadily disappear, and the houses creep over it all. Not a blade of grass, not a tree, not a bird singing. Couldn't live like that myself, I'd go crazy (yeah, alright then, crazier).

    Panmure MC , long gone.

You done the right thing getting out. Gotta go cross another day of on the calender, counting down till I can follow you.

A good choice but if you want an investment get one of the first civics in good condition and store it. Fast becoming a classic I reckon.
