    Registration sticker and holder

Yesterday I noticed that my registration sticker and holder were "missing" from my bike. Goodness knows how long they had been AWOL for. Still ignorance is bliss! I'm sure they were there last time I washed my beautiful baby.
It looks as though the holder thingy (very technical term!) had completely sheared off the number plate.
Has anyone had this happen before?
What can I do do stop it happening again please?
All thoughts and comments will be gratefully accepted......even the silly suggestions

Fasten it securely, with washers behind the plate, and use self-locking nuts.
Oh yeah - and stop pulling wheelies: scraping your number plate along the road is a sure-fire way to rip the rego off.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

    Thanks Viffer
It looked as though it was riveted on originally.
So screws are the answer then?
Hmmm....will have to find a bloke to help me with that.
