It's all statistics WINJA and all the polies look at is the liklihood of you getting injured in a crash versus you getting mugged/burgled/robbed.

Sorry, that is what gets the attention.

My friends dad is a police officer. One day when he was giving me a ride to the hospital (push-bike accident) some dork decided to pass us on double yellow lines. We were doing 100kph and i estimate he was doing 120+

My friends dad took down his rego and when he was at work next he wrote out a ticket for passing on double yellow lines and hand delivered it to the address he got from the cars rego.

I asked him about getting them for speeding also. His response was around the lines of "I can't get him for speeding because I have no definate speed to go on"

Winja, All we can do is accept that the majority of street cops will always be too spineless to go against their bowing and scraping politically correct superiors - who in turn are even more spineless, and continue to shovel this brainwashing bullshit down their greasy hen-pecking ladders of tightly controlled authority. It all starts from parasitic elitist groups of shifty, pursed lipped, handwringing, boring, pompous, turkey necked shitheads with pasty skin, severely tightened shirt collars and bad breath.

These slimy weasels have no warmth in their blood and shall forever be queer, strange cunts. They spend their days hovering at the top of their chosen official perches, and spend their lives plotting, squealing, snivelling, ass licking, back stabbing, and tut-tutting like scabby, mangy old hens. They will ensure that they remain strutting and posing in their sterile, bland corridoors of self imposed, self important power AT ALL COSTS.

Genuine people play no part in this lousy, stinking pit of writhing greedy snakes. Forget the bastards, find some backroads, and ride.

But surely that would produce the reverse situation. Apart from one girl many (20+) years ago , no one in my family, or of my reasonably close aquaintanceship has been injured in a crash. But half the people I know have been mugged or burgled. So if mugging and burglary are more prevalent why do they not get priority ?

At the risk of bringing the thread back on topic, the pain in your side is Mr Spudchucka's elbow digging you in the ribs. "Not properly served " - he can't make the hint much broader.

Nehh, at the bottom of the "most spineless and scraping" list we find the likes of number 33.

Me? I have no problems except restraining my mirth when reading the crap postings of number33.

Nice trolling mr33, gutless and non compo mentis is your moto!!

Real bike riders have better things to do!!

And BTW, last time I paid to a "revenue gatherer" was in 1987 - 196kph.

Since then I have figured that those that pay to 'revenue gatherers' are nothing but poorly advised and poorly observant riders.
