The Worlds sadest cager, read it

here is an extract from a man Named John, IMHO, he sould be deleted from the gene pool.......

the web site is at the bottom so you can go and enjoy more antics from the worlds biggest looser, there is a huge amount of information about this car, its all pointless but i can't stop reading it. his number plate is 1701a, when you find out why that is his number plate, you will laughing................

someone will disagree with me that this guy is a looser, those of you who do, should be in the Prius club........

    enjoy....

Extract John’s website who is a prius owner

My first Civic-Hybrid sighting. I was pulling up to a quiet intersection (just 2 minutes after getting the new alternate tires). There in my rear-view mirror I noticed a tiny familiar shape (which I know well from the gathering). When it got bigger, I confirmed it was a Civic-Hybrid. It turned right. So I did the same. Then I punched it to get on the side. That was followed by a series of honks. The response was a bunch of waving hands. They obviously appreciated getting noticed. So I pulled in front. Seeing I was in a Prius resulted in a big thumbs up from the driver. When I got onto the off-ramp (the regular road we met on changed to a highway) the passenger in front made sure I saw him waving as I drove away. That was cool!

if you liked that, your gonna love the rest of it.......

    What a sad bugger

Checked the engine oil again. After having driven over 6400 miles, the oil was now a dark brown pancake syrup color (similar to "Aunt Jemima's original flavor" syrup) and had about the same consistency as syrup too. It appears as though the oil doesn't breakdown anywhere near as quickly as it does with gasoline-only vehicles. And if the oil filter is doing it's job well, I have nothing to worry about. Changing the oil & filter every 7500 miles (or 6 months, whichever comes first) will be really convenient, and I'm not consuming as many resources either.
    how nice.

btw, i had a 1976 civic which would have been faster than one of these pieces of shit, and got about 50mpg (when i didnt boost). thing weighed 600kg, and had 160hp

Ok too lazy to read here, but maybe someone knows the answer already.
How many and what sort of batteries do these things use for storage and how often do they need replacing?

No I am NOT thinking of buying one, fuel will have to go a LOT higher first. Just wondering that's all.

They're petrol/electric hybrid. The batteries will last forever and are probably easier to change than iPod batteries. You still stick petrol in them, and the 1.5ltr engine drives the wheels as normal. But an electric piggy-backs off the drive, and charges the electrical system. When you acclerate from the lights etc, the petrol runs. When you're cruisin on the motorway, the electric runs until the engine is needed. One minor good thing, is that when you plant the right pedal hard enough, and have charge, the electric and petrol run together, which gives the equivelant of a 2.5ltr engine pulling.

that's how I understand and have read about it anyway

    Hybrid schmybrid.

Buggy - you've been hit in the head too many times man. You'd be lucky if the combined pulling "power" of any hybrid combo could beat a 1982 990cc Daihatsu Charade away from the lights, or to their similar top speeds of 140km/hr.

Hybrids suck. The stuff they use to make the batteries makes them more of an environmental hazard than all the emissions produced by a 2005 4 litre petrol V8 powered SUV.

Stupid idea so that car manufacturers look like greenies, but still get to sell oil for oil companies.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

Top gear tested a hybrid recently and found that a desiel car was more efficent on fuel use. Desiel also requires less refining, so assuming an efficent combustion, should be better for the environment.

Gooidness. He is easily amused. Did anyone look at the massive collection of Personal logs on his site. Goodness.

Oh, golly. It gets worse. Thre is a whole LIST of other people like him, named on the site.

    And look what else (attachment)

The really sad thing is, I KNOW people like him. They think I'm strange. They don't ride bikes. They would NEVER ride bikes.

I think I need to find a new species to enroll in. I don't belong in this one.

This one desnt use petroleum but costs HEAPS. Not to shabby off the line tho at 4.5 sec to 100mph but sadly with only a top speed of 106 mph, which isnt too bad for a car. A sign of things to come maybe.
But like jim mentioned, it probably produces more nasties in its manufacture than a petrol car
    dont break your cake
