Free to a good home - Tyre pressure gauge

Pen type tyre pressure gauge. Will fit nicely in your underseat toolkit, and double as a pleasant hardened metal object to go with the collection of cheese-metal tools the manufacturers give you.

Your tyres are the single most important safety item on your motorcycle, followed closely in second by your suspension whose job it is to keep your tyres in contact with the ground at all times. Make sure those pressures are correct.

PM with your address and a sob story, and I'll post the gauge to the owner of the saddest story.

What colour is it? and can you post a pic? The tools under my seat are carefully arranged by size, shape and colour, and the overall impression I want to project is one of self containment, yet a certain ruggedness is also desireable, can I dear say,a little ''macho'',although not too much...light and pleasing to the eye,with...practicality formost in my choice.I am in two minds here, the slim, almost stilleto like pen type, with chrome pocket clip, and of course I can choose a nice metal bodied pen to match perfectly, with the vibrant blue and fine tip I prefer for my ballpoints, monogramed of course with my initials,oh dear, then there is the extra cost of a matching look for the tyre gauge. The dial type, although giving the impression that I am a serious tyre pressure afficondio,is a little daunting with all those fierce looking numbers and the aggressive needle, and frankly,I find the colours absolutly appalling! I find I am leaning towards the pen type,so nice to hold in my hand, carressing the shaft as I bend to thrust it into the waiting v,v,valve......sorry,where was I????

Geez, wot sorda gurlz blouses are youse guys. Any REAL biker doesn't need to shag about wof ponsy nancy gauges. Real biker can tell tyre pressure to within 2 psi just by giving the tyre a good kick. Second kick confirms to half a pound. Guages smages.

    Thanks for posting that :-)

For anyone wishing to eperience similar thrills to those savoured by Motu, the latest issue of TWO Wheels Only has a free pen type gauge in thoroughly kinky plastic.

Of course you could go to Super Cheap Autos and buy a steel gauge for only two thirds of the price of the magazine but then you wouldn't get to read about the Ducati 999R, the Beemer 1200R, or the KTM 950SM etc.

Not quite sure I'd like a bike with the model designation SM, it might attract the wrong sort of people... I remember seeing a 1%er with a tee shirt that proclaimed, "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but whips and chains excite me."

Gotta go, I got some serious reading to do and a chain to check
    ( m/c that is not sm ).

The Gauge was never picked up by the respondee, so it's up for grabs again. First in, first served.

Pick me, pick me .... I can never find an air line at a garage that easily fits into my valve.
Hmm. I wonder if the cost of postage would be more than me going and buying one myself down here?

Postage is free for members of the CB400 Super Four club. Ooo! Look!! Aren't you the lucky one.

PM me your address. It's isn't the flashest, but it's better than none.
