102nd use for a dead cat

    http://www.ananova.com/news/story/sm...=news.quirkies

Inventor turns dead cats into diesel

A German inventor says he's found a way to make cheap diesel fuel out of dead cats.

Dr Christian Koch, 55, from Kleinhartmannsdorf, said his method uses old tyres, weeds and animal cadavers.

They are heated up to 300 Celsius to filter out hydrocarbon which is then turned into diesel by a catalytic converter.

He said the resulting "high quality bio-diesel" costs just 15 pence per litre.

Koch said the cadaver of a fully grown cat can produce 2.5 litres of fuel - meaning around 20 cats are needed for a full tank.

He said: "I tank my car with my own diesel mixture and have driven it for 105,000 miles without any problems."

Annelise Krauss of the Dresden Animal Protection Association blasted Koch's new diesel though, saying: "This is as bad as experimenting on animals."

Adds a new meaning to "catalytic converter".

Time for a diesel bike perhaps - there are plenty of cats around my area...
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.
those cheap ass bitches can do anything with ductape.

Hmmmm, that gives me so many reasons...........
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods

Shouldn't we charge less considering normal diesel prices

Just install a scoop on the front of the bike, a little cat-burning stove on the back and you've got your own eco-friendly bike!

$1.00 per litre??, hang on .22 rounds are about 10c, plenty of cats around here. Think the .30 is a bit big for them though

I wonder how fur you can get on a full tank?

Mechanics will not have to clean up carbon deposits from cylinders ... just furr-balls...

Can you imagine the sound it makes hurtling thru the corners ....
    meeeeeeeowwwwwwww....

'cat-alytic converter' - ha ha ha ha ha - brilliant. I'm always going to think of this whenever I hear the term. At some time in the future some poor vehicle salesman is going to say 'catalytic converter' to me and I'm going to go into paroxisms of laughter on the ground at his feet. Yes I'll be catatonic.

    Wonderful.

Why use cats when dogs are bigger and easier to catch?
