I trust you have noted that chirping of your siren is banned in somewhere. I would not like to think what a hazard you might become , going along chirping of your siren all over the shop.

Stick with the melodious tootling of the horn.

So WildBoarMouse or Bugjuice... anyone keen to help out?

I was thinking that (depending on who is willing to help) maybe letting anyone come along to see how it's done incase they wanna install thier own alarm at some stage...

Hey there... Yep, I was waiting for you to email me all friday so we could arrange a time (email address further up the page). Ended up sitting on my ass all Sunday watching the complete series of Firefly not that I'm complaining - that's a really good series! I'm heading down to Hamilton for the next two weekends then over to Canada for six weeks... sorry.

yeah, happy to give it a go. I'll look it over etc, and if I'm more than 20% confident, I'll go for it
I'll see what this weekend it like and let you know, unless you have anything else in mind. Would prefer a weekend (Sunday I guess, cos you work Saturday, don't you..??) since I have no idea how long it'll take, and the daylight is better than the dark

Sweet thanks I'm not sure what the weather is going be like on Sunday... but yeah Sunday would be best for me (unless your planning on going on the Run for the Burns children at Middlemore)... or Saturday afternoon perhaps (I usually finish work at about 2-3pm on Saturdays).

The good news: Happy to pay for gas and beer (or preferred drink)
The bad news: Don't have a garage/car port and I doubt I have the right tools required.

Edit: Also would you mind if it was an "open" alarm installation in the sense that anyone interested can come along and watch incase it may be useful to them in the future?

Saturday afternoon is fine. Didn't know about the hospital run on Sunday. Might pop along..

I was thinking that you can come over to my place, since I have a gargre and tools.. Plus a car, should we need to nip to Repco/Super Cheap for anything.. and I'm only up the road from you

And anyone's welcome to come along and watch/help. Just have to sign a waiver I'll be handing out, so that should anything go wrong, you didn't seeeeee aaaaanyyyyythiiiiing....

yeah, don't mind that at all. I'll have to double check with almost everyone I know that I haven't got anything on, on saturday afternoon.

Best place to meet would probably be Cyclespot at whatever time you want, then we'll all head back to mine instead of people getting lost everywhere!
