    Haven't seen any power claims...but guessing it'd be 170-180?

Is Honda gonna bring out that 200bhp thing that was rumoured a while ago? Was gonna be a VFR or something...I think...

It doesn't need specs. It's got perfect 20/20 vision...

Didn't read the whole thing, but didn't notice any actual specs.....Um, how can you copy that many words from the Kawasaki brochure and not at least give SOME idea of how how powerful it actually is?

erm....no...not torque....its mainly the areodynamics actually

Horsepower is only a caulculation of torque over time...
Revs multiplie torque,in a given time frame, gives you HP...the drag coe of the busa has more to do with topend than what most people are lead to believe...air creates a huge amount of fricton...its caulculation I can't remeber...find a fan that will blow a 300kmph wind at you standing up [u won't be able to stand or squat in that amount of wind...this is just an example]....then squat down...you'll more than halve the force...
halve that force and from memorie you require about 33% less HP!!!!

An engine is only a air pump...its all about flowing air...the higher the volume of air it can flow in a givin time frame the more efficient it will be and the more power it will make....its easy to make a high torque engine....under square bore...and long stroke...or a very large cylinder...your either alowing the explosion to last longer as in the case of the long stroke engine or allowing a bigger explosion [more air and petrol] ....the trick is with a powerful engine is producing a reasonable torque figure and be able to multiplie it with revs with the torque figure dropping off as little as possible...

chuck a higher HP engine in a busa...it will go faster...regardless of the torque figure!!!

    Or just turbo it

roller bearing turbo, small intercooler, motec ecu, big fuel pump, injectors, custom plenum chamber .....ohh *touches self inappropriately*

you would be riding from gas station to gas station but a lot of fun in between ( i wont call them service stations because when was the last tim u got service )
