went to countdown this morning to get some goodies,inside bout 10 mins as had to repack the beer into my bag go out-bikes looks fine-only 10 or so cars in the park (8 oclock) no one near the bike. get on start up-hello- mirror is out of adjustment ? must have knocked it when i got off-shit whole arm is loose -shug-readjust and off i go-1st roundabout go to apply the front brake-wheres the damn lever?- you got it -some arsehole had knocked the bike over in the carpark-at least they had put it back on its stand,no major damage, end of the brake lever broken off and bent down and a few marks on the pipe but still pissed me off- the bike was parked right in front of the window and the car park is almost empty, got me beat how the tosser hit it with all the empty space available

There's no chance it was parked slightly unstable and fell over by itself, some kind soul picked it up?

I've done that myself.

na-was on the side stand and backed into the gutter,didn't notice the brake as didn't use it before the roundabout

I sympathise with you. Can't say it's ever happened to me but I have heard a lot of horror stories none the less!

The old story though, people will have accidents like that and if no-one sees them do it they just walk away and don't take any accountability by leaving a note, some people do but very few I think nowadays. If they/we don't leave a note then surely it's criminal behaviour!

At least his conscience dictated to pick up the bike, unless a good passing samaritan did?

Question: Was your bike in a park? If not, they could rightfully argue that they didn't expect a vehicle to be parked there - therefore it is your fault....

yep in the middle of a park, front wheel facing right and locked and on the side stand leaning to the left and it went over on the right hand side,can only think someone parked to close and knocked it over when they opened the door,but its not that easy to do,and if they ment to do it they would not have picked it up again,its got me a bit beat how it was done as there are no marks-wrong- just went an looked again,it has been hit on the left hand side cover and does fall over quite easy when you give it a nudge,just unlucky for me but not a lot of damage
not a toddler,but the only baby i got !!!!

Try Pak N Save.

They've got the nice motorcycle and bicycle parking on the left of the supermarket, well away from the harrassed mothers in their Pajeros.

Bad luck though.

Hope the bike is better soon. At least GN's are cheap to fix. Ask matthewt what a brake lever for an MV Agusta costs and consider yourself lucky you don't own a fragile piece of Italian machinery.
