Somehow I think you are being sarcastic.

Do I admire my bike? Hell yea. Love starting it up leaving it idle then standing behind it and to the right a bit listening to the sound. And as Slash said the other day looks staunch from the front with the long forks and low bars. I love my bike.

I never buy a bike on looks, but when I look at them I can't help thinking they look pretty good, purposful.I took my love to a secluded beach on saturday, she threw me on the sand, and I buried her then dug her up again.I'm kinda in awe and wonder if I'm up to it.

No, not really. A bike to me is just a machine , something that does a job of work. Hopefully does it well, cheaply and efficiently. Some bikes look more elegant than others , as is the case with all machinery. I may admire an engineer who designed some part of it particularly elegantly or efficiently but that's all. I am always puzzled about the wya people go on about the LOOKS of a new model. Who cares what it looks like, so long as it does it's job. Looks won't get you over teh ground any faster or more reliably. 'Tis like famers and horses I suppose.

How often do you stand in awe of your machine when it is parked up outside or in your gargre?
    :
I often do - I was stunned to realise the pin-stripes on the side of my Sportys petrol tank are HAND-PAINTED on - there is even a label stating who did them, what date/time and even what shift she was on, unreal!!

Do I really have to answer this?

Since Feb last year after the tradgic lost of "Verronica" (her body still hangs in Frosty's garage ), "Roxanne" and I have been going steady. I've shower her with more gifts then I have ever give to anyone else I have dated (that enclues my ex-wife ). I have spent many hours doing plastic surgery on her and redoing her make-up so that she stays looking youny. I am always getting her new "shoes", and at the moment I have her in the "Doc's" getting a "wellness check", while I work on her new dress.

Yes, my eye does stray, and I have been found admiring others, but I still admire her. When the time comes for us to part (as it will), I will still hold fond memories of her (as I do of those before her) and the new one will live long in her shadow before I will stop missing her

Ixion, Yea Looks arn't really important mate but they certainly are nice. Like just one more little factor that when combined with other small factors becomes your dream bike. Be it something that handles well or goes really fast ot is comfortable and intimate. I know this analogy between bikes and women has been overdone but that's pretty much what it is. Alot of us here look at our bikes as if they are the perfect woman (or man).
