    CBD is full of arseholes, try to park your bike somewhere VERY secure, and out of public sight.

    First week that I had my new bike, some ass tried to nick it and gnarled up the ignition key barrel. That was in a private carpark too!!

    Week after that someone had a go when it was parked outside Uni at night.

    Now it's in a secure carpark where no one can see it...here's hoping it'll be safe.

    An alarm would be a good idea methinks...but it doesn't make the bike go faster so I probably won't buy one.

    I've done this several times. No problems. Only thing is they don't open all that early

    Finally went and spoke to the folk at Aotea carpark and they are sweet with folk parking bikes in there overnight, etc and dont mind if you chain it to the railing, etc as long as you inform the cashier.
