    CHEERS!!!!

Thanks people, the AA lady was rather interested with the results... BTW, if you want to know why I speed its because the howl of a 2-stroke is rather addictive and you have to speed to get to the power band in 6th....

    oh yea!!

and like someone else said...bikes need speed to balance. was following a mistral up one of the main town roads the other day. clear road for blocks, and they were just crawling. going maybe 30k..cars backed up for miles behind me, and me struggling to not drop my feet, lol. was so glad when they slammed on the breaks, let their indicater blink once and then pull into a park
you can speed on a GN???

    Who says I speed?

    Define speed.

If you mean driving/riding at an unsafe speed , then the answer is "I don't"

If you mean driving/riding at a speed in excess of the posted limit , then the answer is the same as the one to "Why do you prak longer then the parking sign says". Because the posted limit is unrealistic, unsafe , fails to take account of real world realities.

Its part of the DD course set by the AA, I don't have a car license so I can't do the passrite course (NOT FREAKIN FAIR!!!!). Anyway, If I hadn't done this survey I would fail and wouldn't be allowed my full till around Xmas NEXT year....

Big thanks to everyone that answered!!!

I never heard of such a question in a DD course. But I guess anything's possible in this brave new world.
It may be psychological profiling to see if you're going to turn into a crazed road murderer and travel at 1.5 km/h over the limit.
    Speed doesn't kill people.
    Stupidity kills people.

having the ability to go fast easily compel's me to go fast,
but you should probably answer the question along the lines of.....

Having more than enough horsepower on tap allows me to open my options in times of evasive manouevres. Speeding would not be a my/sensible option in normal riding conditions.

Good luck with your full license

Sometimes it's adrenalin (even more so when those Holden Bringitons try and keep up). Sometimes I just do. I have a belief that just cos some twat in an office thinks 100k is the maximum safe speed I can travel at doesn't mean they're right.
Yep, I'll go with what madboy says

Cause the current spped limits are bullsh*t and if they were more realistic then I would be more inclined to stick to them......... occasionally.
