I think its great. Its good to see bikes appearing at classic/different to modern standard capacities as well. I think it looks horn and with all those ohlins suspension its got to handle. If you clean the bugs and tar off after every ride the appearance will be sweet, fuck I do that with my hornet, so I'd do it with a soft bristle tooth brush with this baby.

Just been looking at the threads on their site. They've upped capacity to 961, the thing is still in developement. ie nothing set in concrete yet still. Want to make sure the production release bike is spot on and so it should. Handling issues apperently. I hope it does well.

The Norton comando was the absolute limit of that design ..the piston speeds and ring problems ,,,Then they called it a combat and increased ( from memory ) the compression .....

IMHO the 500 twin was the limit safe reliable ....650 ,,,well thats pushing things a bit ,,,

Have to admit though ,,,it looks nice.....( not as nice as my Enfield thougH)

No,the 600 was the best Norton twin,650,750 and 850 had a longer stroke. So piston speed was not a problem for the 600 - my 600 SS would clean up a 650 SS....all in the rider I presume......

It's a nice bike, but can get a cool Harley for the same price as the Norton. $30,000 plus.

I am particulaly picky as to how I spend the hard earned. For that sort of dosh I expect more for my money And any way performance doesn't look that much more than an 80's 750, which can be picked up for under 2 grand :spudwave:
