Ever notice that anyone slower than you is an idiot, but anyone going faster is a maniac?
I have one of those too. Pity the front suspension doesn't.
Quite well detailed.

wellllllll.....as many people have already pointed out the xj220 was supposed to be a v12 but ended up as a v6. it just so happens that the v6 was based on the MG metro 6R4 rally car engine but off course used twin turbo as a way of getting more power, as for fastest production car.....that was untill the mclaren f1 was released in 1994, the mf1 weighed less and also had more power and a 6 speed gear box, where the xj220 had a top speed of 220mp/h claimed [hence the name, just like alot of other jag cars, eg, xk120,xk140 etc] the mf1 had a factory claimed top speed of 231mp/h but the mf1 le-mans or gtr version has seen 241 unnoficialy. all out the mf1 was and still is one of the greatest cars of that genre, inc ferrari enzo, porsche carrera gt, and of course the pagani zonda c12S and soon to be bugatti veyron. not to mention the konessig and the EB Edonis.........mmmmmm tooooo much car books/ timeOriginally Posted by Marmoot
