that's just hype and rumours.. I'm as clean as a whistle.. and enjoy that too..
but I'm a pommie git, who could potentially have mad moo disease, so alas, I cannot.
I do, however, wonder why they don't have a 'pommie bucket' of this stuff.. There's plenty of us here now, so instead of having the nice clean stuff (which is top quality might I add), us brits can keep it to ourselves to help the numbers, so we don't have to rely as much on the good stuff. Just thinking of other ways to share the claret..

But hey if you turn up and can't it is a ride anyway.
Hmm you wont be needing that chocolate biscuit will you? Can have it?
is it wise to ride to and from something like that?
just make sure you don't get too light headed for stuff like this..
Cool, I'll be there, even if I can't give blood.Originally Posted by CaN
As for people worried about being feint after giving blood, simply make sure that you each beforehand or bring a sandwich with or a sweet drink, that should sort you out.
And because I am a diabetic I won't be able to eat the chocolate biscuit, which is fine cause we can auction that off later on in the evening!!!!![]()

Would love to help out but I'm already booked in to go tomorrow morning through work, and I think you have to wait 12 weeks between donations . . .
And remember to drink heaps of water during the day! It makes a big difference to how long you have to sit there draining for. And if you're donating plasma, being properly hydrated can make the difference between 30 minutes, and 70 minutes. Learnt that one the hard way!!!![]()
Or just pop 3 or 4 asprin. That works.Originally Posted by WildBoarMouse
