Went out for 'cruise' to Kaukapakapa and on to Wellsford. Saw chickenfunkstar mid-corner, probably going to uni.
Also saw a later model R6/R1 (03+) in red/black and a large mid 90's gixxer something or rather in red.
Was also a guy on a cruiser but didnt catch what it was.
So was anyone out on SH16 on one of those kind of bikes? I was riding a 2001 R6 in blue

I was on 16 for a lunch break. didnt get past mt albert but I saw a bunch of strange large (like the sprotsdirt bikes with a hint of goldwing) bikes heading west around 2pm
+ the occasional ussual suspects on that road that dont wave to me the bastards.

nah.. i had a Gixxer 750 this AM.. was doin ok in "lane 1A" till this legend blew by me on his FJ like i was in reverse..
i hope people dont think that was ME!!...

True. I thought it might have been you. Saw the red/black R1/R6 on my way home at about 4:30pm. Would have been a good day to be on SH16 today with all the nice weather.

was about 11:45 between Great North Road and Western Springs off ramps. Yellow SV heading towards city.
must have been alot of Yellow SV's around on SH16! hehe
