I think he means $14,000 which is pushing it, because I bought mine in the same colours, brand new for $13,995.

    Do not go over $11,000 - $12,000

( I know you're not going to go that high, but I think it is fair to warn poeple who may not otherwise know).

There is a Silver one in Motorad in Wellington for $13,995. Brand New.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

    I want one
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods

I've seen that one listed before I think...

maybe he got sick of it not selling and decided to go for a $1 reserve or something?

I looked at it and nearly wet myself. I'd bloody well bid on it if I was sure it wasn't a mistake though.

yeah before i placed the first bid of $1400, the buy now was $14000 will be interesting to see what happens, because now he will either have to let it run or withdraw the auction

I think the fact that it was clearly a mistake means that he can withdraw it legally...I think...been a long time since I studied that area of the law.

If it's a genuine error he can withdraw, or refuse to complete the deal. But it may be , setting a stupidly low reserve is a known auction technique. it's a public auction with two weeks to run, there'll be many a person bidding. The price will go a lot higher before teh auction ends.
