Bugger to hear about the accident, best wishes from down south.
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods

Sounds like a nasty one - glad he is, generally, OK! Best wishes on your recovery, mate.

Thanks to all that helped me out and to all those that have offered help and wishes.
Can’t remember a thing about the crash, just aiming between two trees and thinking, "This is gunna hurt"
I'm putting the crash down to rider error as I ether took the corner too fast or too wide.
Glad the bikes ok, it wont die that little Suzuki!
Extra thanks to whom-ever road my bike back to Quasi’s, I hope it behaved itself for you!
Don’t know where I got the turkey thing from, damn hallucinations!
Any way, I’ve had X-rays and a CT scan and after much searching they found a brain with a little bruising around it, but nothing serious.
    Thanks again, ride safe!

I'd prosecute the turkey. He was there, and he doesn't have a good lawyer. Flighty looking character to boot.

Sorry to hear that it aall went lavender, gld to hear that neither man nor machine are seriously broken.

Yeah I want that turkey on the table for Christmouse dinner!!! Yum!!! . If anyone runs over, it let me Mum know. She is into picking up roadkill that's not to squished. As a kid I ate pukeko, rabbit, hare, possum, duck!!! I won't do roadkill no more

Why not ? I'll have any you don't want, except the pukeko. They're vile

Was told today just how lucky I am!
    Scary, very scary...
As in if it wasn’t for the fact I had good gear on and was surrounded by people who knew how to keep a cool head in a situation and a good knowledge of what to do things would have been much worse.
    Thank you all so much.
I don’t think I'll be going on any solo rides for quite a while like I used to ether!
If you really want to know how bad, think vegetative state.
    No kidding,
    Thanks again,
    Karl

    Edit;
Found out what I did thanks to sAsLEX, too fast into a decreasing radius corner, compression lock probably added by heavy breaking, corrected a head-shake and binned it anyway! Shit happens!
Cant even blame the turkey! Other than the one riding!

Sure were lucky mate i still don't know how ya managed to miss the tree and the fence and the hole shibang.....still say you should get a lotto ticket

The worse part of it was if alex hadn't been following ya..... neither you nor the bike were visable from the road......had to hike a fair way to find you in that nice soft bed you landed in.

Once again Mac should be praised... hell i'll even buy him a beer
Lump lingered last in line for brains,
And the ones she got were sort of rotten and insane...
