You mentioned that you would post pictures, so you had a camera with you. Make sure you keep copies for the insurance claim, they will be VERY useful to your insurance company and also the police if charges are laid.
Glad you hit the "eject" button quickly and you are safe!!!

some people in a nearby house took some photos because the bus stopped in the road just after it had run over the bike and it clearly shows the bus in the wrong side of the road im getting the pics off them tommorrow it was about 50 metres from home so i ran home and got a camera and took pics of the bike at the site
he has admitted he was wrong and their insurance will pay out he said i don't have insurance myself but he said thats fine because it's completely his fault....and there were at least 2 witnesses
one guy on a push bike and the people in thier house who took pics of the bus on the wrong side of the road
im just glad i didnt become roadkill i was still jumping off it when the front of the bus was about 2 metres away front wheel just missed it but the back end hit it hard and rolled over it passengers looked pretty shaken up apparently they all thought i was still on it and the cyclist thought i was as well
a near miss i will remember vividly
this guy just lucky i got the hell off the bike aye

Really feel for ya Mark. What an horrific experience to go thru, but you'd have to be thankful for being able to escape serious injury or even death, which should bring things into perspective. The bike will be replaced!Originally Posted by markauckland
At the end of the day it sucks BIG time, life goes on, you'll get over it. Hope you can get it sorted quickly and smoothly thru insurance and be back on two wheels soon!![]()
As in, if he smokes you...you end up crippled from the accident...he doesn't pay shit for that...ACC gives you a measly amount...you can't sue him specifically for the injuries to your body.Originally Posted by markauckland

Would cost about $30,000 to fix that with genuine *new* parts.
Glad a biker lives to see another day! At least the dumbass driver didn't say something like "Oh, didn't see ya, cos you're a motorbike", or "Ya shoulda had ya headlight on".
Man there are some idgets around!
