Last bike I had with a generator was an old BSA single - they were crap,and I could never keep them going....and if I did the regulator would crap out.The move to bikes with altenators was worth it,no more generator worries.....

Until the zener diode or rectifier crapped out. I always liked the generators.

Yeah but probably not enough to run a set of tyre warmers. You'd need a 1kVa gen to do a set of them normally. Could always get 2 although I think you could probably get one from supercheap for around $200 or so.Originally Posted by Sparky Bills
