battery could still be poked, try it with a car battery jump start styles and see if that helps
EDIT: when i got mine from japan it wouldnt start, would turn over but that stopped soon and even after charging the battery it wouldn't fire, turned out i needed a new one

even though you charged it the power in your batter might not be enough to form a decent spark

Race down to the gas station and buy a can of Engine Start or Brake Clean. Spray a little into the airbox (with the filter removed) while cranking it over.

Its sounding like either fuel or spark to me. Check the plugs arent fouled, and check that you've got a good flow of fuel to the carbs. If there is a filter, you might want to flush it out.

Sweet, check for the fuel filter and tap - they may have picked up some gunk off the bottom of the tank.

And if you make it out on the ride, be sure to rock up and say hi

If the engine is flooded try winding it over with full throttle and no choke. This gets maximum airflow through the motor and will usually dry out wet plugs sufficiently to fire. I still think you should try the solvent in the airbox though.
