Ok I just pulled ALL of the carb appart and cleaned it out.

I'll try starting it again tomorrow, I'll get a new plug too.

here was a funny thing though. The plug was a bit wet after I kicked it over a few 100 times, and when I tried to test it, teh spark kind looked like it was down inside teh plug.... strange.....

my bike eats tyres.. sucks, huh?

depends on how it's eating the plugs, which will show you what your issue is..
do they get fowled to quick? do they burn up quick? do they crack..?? You using the right plug for the bike?

    Usually too rich,

but where? is the question to ask. If you are trail riding then chances are the pilot jet & it fouls when putting around. Unless you are wide open for extended periods it is safe to go to the next hotter plug than std.

Good idea to check the plug cover to see not more than 7k. A slightly weak ignition may be an issue.

what color is your plug and what oil are you using in your premix, my KTM kills plugs randomly, but they seem to die after the bike has sat for a little bit, never when i am riding it, my friend has a kx that if you are not careful it will foul a plug in the first few mins of riding, and will cut out, trick is to keep it running

Have you taken your bike over any sweet jumps?

My bike went through 3 plugs in two weeks. I found the plug cap was rusting away so there was enough spark to run the bike but when I was warming it up with the choke on it would start to foul the plug. If i turned the bike off after warming it up but not taking it for a ride I wouldn't be able to start it again until I cleaned the plug. So, check the plug end caps, also I switched from a standard ngk plug to an iridium one and that made a world of difference. It didn't get fouled even though I hadn't changed the cap yet. I have since bought new plug cap ($7) and haven't had anymore fouling problems. Sorry about the long winded reply:slap:

take it to a bike shop get thme to get it running the correct mixture and then try find some decent plugs that do'n't cost you an arm and a leg

then if they still screw out you can replace them cheap enough..

go see laurie at panmure motorcycles in morrin road panmure he will probably know why it's stuffing plugs..

    Panmure MC's: 527 6713

Never ever risk using cheap plugs in a two smoker (unless the manufacturers recommendation is a cheap one - sometime is). And always replace the plug as a matter of course if you're having any engine problem at all.

It's a two smoker. it's gonna eat plugs. Deal with it. Just carry a few a spares (tuck 'em inside a frame tube.). And it's the way you ride, you've been letting the revs go below the red line haven't you. Too rich if they're fouling and crapping out, too lean if the electrodes are disappearing (though usually the piston follows soon behind)
