The major problem with the road code is that it's not written clearly. It used to explain a situation and give scenarios etc. but on the opposite page it would say "The law says you must or must do this..."
I had an argument with a guy (F*wit) from LTSA about the M/cycle road code.
Special Question 31. If you stop on a hill which brake do you use to start off again with?
a) Front.
b) Back.
c) Both.
If I were to answer that in a practical sense I would say b. Coz you start off using your back brake. But the RC gives a situiation and doesn't say it's both or back although it describes using both in the whole procedure.
I didn't get that question in my quiz but it just shows that sometimes it depends on how you read the RC that makes the difference.
