    Cool Got my licence =)

Went and got my learners today - passed without any hitches other than having to wait in a farking long queue to pay $79 to make it official that I know what I already do...

Anyway other than that I'm damn pleased I've got my licence. Next step: get myself a bike and get into it!

    Aw. Please? I'll be good...

Nah, I'd be scared I'd do damage to it and have to put up with endless little jabs afterward! Not to mention having to fix it up. My wallet wouldn't be able to cope with such loads at the moment! So I'll just have to wait until I get my own.

Congratulations. And well done. Now for the learning bit. You can join me. After 40 years I'm *still* learning.

Got a couple of ideas on a first bike... like jaybee's saying, I was having a think about his Yamaha SR250. Have never seen one before much less know anything about them, and then there's the issue of getting it to Christchurch - which I'm sure would cost a bit. Another KBer has mentioned he'll be selling his Suzuki NZ250S, which sounds pretty good so far, though I'm waiting on pics and answers to a couple of questions. Also had an offer from another KB member to get it down here. So that one's looking like it could be a good option too.

But I'm still having a bit of a ponder at this stage, so any other suggestions would be appreciated!
