By the sign advertising Te Uku Gallery, about 1 or 2 km before the gallery itself, on the Frankton Raglan road. I got the impression that not turning right takes you to Waingaro but I might be all to hell about that. Ixion and Motu a can probably confirm that.

Just done it on a gn a tu and a Katana

Just done it, and it was a good ride. bugger all cages Really nice road. had coffe in Tuakau then down to Raglan with a couple of rest/pee stops

Yes as mentioned you need to turn right at Waiganro springs.
We didn't on the way down missed the turning at that adds quite a distance to the ride having to go through Te Kowhai, Whatawhata etc..

On the way back we turned left at Te Uku and took the 22 all the way back to Pukekohe. There are 2 bits of unsealed[metal] road on the Te Uku-Waiganro Springs section but both bits are easy to ride on. Hey I was on a GN a mate on a Volty[TU] and another mate on a Katana 250 so if a GN and TU can make it anything can. There are a couple of bits of road works on the rest one bit with fairly deep gravel but if you take it easy no probs

Lots of waves from other bikes[no doubt some KB'ers] All in all a good day ..tired now though

thanks to all for their input .

He is lying! He is lying I tell you!
Don't believe anything this old fart says.

The road is treacherous, full of crap and should not be ridden/driven by anybody.

GN is good on gravel. TU should be too. Good on ya for giving it a go.
