    Cool

    Glen,

Scott was truely one of the good dudes in life.

He loved his m/bike with a passion... and wanted to learn so much about riding and about his bike.... His enthusism (sp) about his very first ride showed up in his threads... and what he learnt and what he wanted to learn.

I never got the opportunity to meet Scott in person, but was looking forward to going on a ride with him and other learner riders. Alas that wasn't to be.
But Scott is now riding with all the motorbike riders in the sky.

Scott's Christmas video clip was lovely and showed us all on KB that he did so much in such a short time. Scott certainly lived life to the fullest and achieved so much.

Scott will be forever remembered on KB as his spirit lives on.

    RIP Scott Carpenter

I don't know, or ever want to know, what you and your family are going through. However I did come very close, also through a motorbike accident I had 6 months ago, and I know the effect that it had on our family. It is very hard, and it puts huge pressures on the emotions of everyone concerned. I know that through support and love, your family spirit will triumph over the tough times, and Scott will never be forgotton.

May your family find peace, and may Scott rest in peace.
    David.

My deepest sympathies Glen. I don't usually comment on bikers tragedies, but I met Scott a couple of times and was greatly saddened by his death.
    Speed doesn't kill people.
    Stupidity kills people.
