Arrow For Scott (KB Korowetere) Carpenter's Family.

This thread is in memory for Scott Carpenter - KB'er Korowetere who died on 5th January 2006 aged 30 years.

Scott had only recently taken up riding motorbikes, and going by all his posts on Kiwibiker, he loved learning to ride and learning about motorbikes.
Scott was enthusastic about his new bike.... that he even chatted about it on his 2005 christmas message on his own website.

I never got to meet Scott in person, but just reading all his messages, I wish I had meet him. Scott certainly lived life to the fullest and achieved so much... (again from his christmas video message.)

Scott did get to meet a few Kiwibikers, since joining up on the site.
Kiwibiker is about the community of bikers who are there for each other, help each other out in all sorts of ways.

To Scott's parents and family... you had a wonderful son, brother and uncle and friend and he will be missed by all those who meet him, spoke to or had any contact with him.

Rest in Peace Scott (Kb'er Korowetere)

Please leave a message in this thread for Scott's parents to read.
KB'er Firefight is going to print off this thread and give it to them as a memorial to Scott.

Rest in Peace Scott. Ride free forever.

Unfortunately I never got to meet you personally Scott but just by reading your threads and watching your Christmas video you had found a real passion for motorbikes and riding. You certainly lived life to the fullest.

I wish to pass on my sincerest condolences to all Scott's family and friends. You have lost someone really special to you all and your grief will be immense. Scott was taken way too soon, when he still had so much more to offer. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

It is very sad news indeed.

Never got to know you Scott but I'm sure you'll be sorely missed by those that love you and hold you dear. A very sad day for all his family and friends, including everyone here. While Scott had only just got into motorcycles and this site, everyone here is our brother and sister. We feel his loss. RIP brother.

It was true that Scott had only just joined the site here, but he seemed to be doing everything right and for some reason was taken from his family and us.

It is a sad loss, my thoughts are with family and friends.

It makes you personally live every day to the fullest knowing that things like this can come out of nowhere.

    RIP Brother.

This is very sad news indeed.

Someone so enthusiastic being taken from us is a huge blow - felt especially keenly by those of us of similar years to Scott. I can only echo the already expressed sentiments that I had been looking forward to meeting Scott; I enjoyed reading his posts and sharing his enthusiasm for getting into riding.

Scott mate - I'll miss your posts, and that cheeky avatar!

    RIP brother.

It seems that Scott lived every minute of his life, travelling and seeing more in his short years than most.

Sincere condolences from my family to yours.

This is what struck me about Scott when I read his threads as well. It was that he was obviously one of the sensible ones, regarding the whole safety side of motorcycling. Thats where it is hard to understand when someone like him has his life cut short yet ones that are not careful get away with it.
