    Speed Cameras worth

Tractor driver cleared of speed charge

    21.01.06

A Wiltshire farmer has received an apology after he was mistakenly sent a speed camera ticket accusing him of driving 85mph (137km/h) on his tractor in South Wales.

Steve Crossman's six-year-old green and yellow tractor has a top speed of 26mph (42km/h). Mr Crossman said: "It's a good tractor, but not that good."
If you love it, let it go. If it comes back to you, you've just high-sided!

And I bet you every person ticketed by that camera recently will be going in demanding their tickets be quashed as well as it was obviously reading very high since last calibration!

They'll probably try and do him for driving on the roads without a current WOF or something...

Shit now you've got me worried, the UK cops can't tell a AG100 from a tractor in a PHOTO?
I hope you guys are better trained.

Arrrgh! The AG can only pull one harrow, the tractor five - or don't you city slickers know basic facts like that??

Besides the colour would give the AG away!

Not sure if they have the car make / model when they issue the ticket...

They check the speed and then write down the number plate... so either they got a typo on the sheet or someone else copied the farmers plate and stuck it on their car / bike / whatever...

Pish. I don't need to rely on colour to tell the diff bewteen an AG100 and a tractor!. Tractors's got bigger tyres, ain't it? Right then!
