They're a lot of fun to ride, really comfortable for long rides, corner really well and they look good. And of course there's that lovely V-twin sound.

    Why the SV650S?

Versatile bike. I needed something for the daily commute, weekend rides, touring and something I could throw around the race track. The SV does it all beautifully - and the added bonus is that being a relative newbie with an occasional lack of throttle control - i.e. it sometimes gets stuck on full - I'd like to think I'm less likely to get into trouble on the 650.

Learned to ride on a Suzuki RG150 and had that for four years in total before trading up to a BMW F650CS. The RG was brilliant, and I had so much confidence on it, which is why I didn't rush out to buy anything bigger.

The CS was a great bike but I never quite got to grips with the width of it and could only just get the balls of my feet down. I didn't like the upright riding position either, and it was costing quite a bit in insurance every year so I looked around for something else.

The Goose is a great bike, heaps of fun, light, narrow and low. It is cool looking, has enough power for me (I'm not Aaron Slight!) and is cheap to run and insure.

It may not be the bike I'll have forever, but for now it's perfect. The SV never grabbed me, and I find them too tall anyway. When you are 5'1" you don't have a lot of options if you aren't into cruisers!
Yes, I am pedantic about spelling and grammar so get used to it!

Yeah right. Saw you bounce off one traffic island and then play chicken with a SS Comodore . I was only behind you for a short while so who knows what other trouble you didn't get into. All this in one day.
