CHECK IT OUT , AND READ IN THE ENGINE MANAGEMENT BIT ABOUT THE 3 SWITCHABLE ECU PROGRAMS , SO FOR SHIT WEATHER YOU CAN SHIFT TO A SOFTER POWER OPTION , I THINK THEY CALL THAT THE HONDA MODE OR SOMETHING

Rumour mill time. Supposed 190hp at the crank (not that unbelievable) and option for a traction control module to be entered into the ignition system.

And WINJA is right about the "Honda" mode, except Honda's lawyers told Suzuki to change it. So Suzuki called it "Retard" mode, Honda's lawyers claimed people would still associate it with their products so Suzuki had to change it again.

IF THEY SELL ONE TO DOVER THEY SHOULD JUST LOCK IT IN RETARD MODE

Maybe, but after replacing virtually every electronic component on an 18 month old bike [loom, ECU, ignition, virtually every sensor and switch] you would think the fucker would keep going for more than 2 days.
WINJA this is with a personal visit from Suzuki N.Z's service manager and intervention from Suzuki Japan.

After all that, you must be due a new bike or your money back. Seen a lawyer yet?
Throw the fear of God into the bastards.

As far as the Gixxer goes, that's even more power than 90% of their owners can use.
    Speed doesn't kill people.
    Stupidity kills people.

I have been back 6 times, my bike spending nearly three weeks in their shop.
All hell is going to break loose tomorrow.
