hi.. the bike i've got right now have been stored in garage for over 4 month and it just won't start now. can anyone tell me what i should do to make the motor run again?i have tried recharge the battery already.(due to this can't even go to the mechanic) any advice will be appriciated.

Perhaps the fuel is bad.. have you tried new fuel?

Definately will need fresh fuel. Drain the carbs, and the tank, flush at least a litre of NEW petrol through (tip it in the tank with the carb drain plugs out and the fuel tap set to "Prime" and let it run to waste). Replace drain plugs ENSURE THE FUEL TAP IS SET TO "PRIME", refill tank with NEW petrol. Charge battery. Clean plugs, though as this is likely to be a pain on these bikes, you may want to try your luck first. If possible have a backup battery, it may take a bit of churning.

If not you need jumper leads connected for 5 minutes to another battery & then try starting.
If it turns over but won't fire undo the small bolts on the bottom of the carbs & drain the fuel withe the fuel tap on prime. Put the bolts back in & fill with fresh fuel. Good luck. Ps sometimes a crash start (3rd gear) works as voltage is not being wasted on turning the motor over & full voltage is getting to the ignition system.

Yea crash start will probably work, but make sure that it is not hydrolocked.
you can stuff an engine well and good if you try crash starting it when its hydrolocked

A mechanic told me when I had my CBR that they flood really easily, as I experienced just before going to get my restricted licence. I took it into the shop and I don't know how they fixed it. Good job it flooded though cause the crankcase was leaking oil

There shuld be a drain pipe that goes from the carb to the bottom of the bike, follow it back to the carb and there should be a screw to turn to let it drain free.

In a 2 stroke a percentage of compression takes place in the crankcase before being transferred through the ports to the combustion chamber.
If a fuel leak (stuck or leaking carb float needle valve) lets fuel through to the intake, the crancase fills with fuel. As we know fluid doesn't compress & when you force the motor to turn over it can cause internal damage eg bent conrod / damaged piston. This is why a lot of advice is given to turn off the fuel tap to prevent this happening. It is only a precaution & not a cure.
Ps the leaking crancase comment just showed the crancase is not properly sealed meaning some compression is being lost before it even gets to the combustion chamber. Hope this helps.

I'd bet that one of the cylinders is hyrolocked (filled with fuel)
DON'T try and bump start it, remove the sparkplugs, charge up the battery and turn the engine over, I bet fuels gonna piss out of one or more of the cylinders.
CBR250's are renowned for the carbs leaking like that when left to sit.
