The detector did work,in normal situation, under normal speeds,i would have slwed down enough, but if you are doing warp 9 speeds you cant slow down quick enough,so yes the detector would wok if you say you were doing 130 ks. you would probably slow down quick enough to 100ks,i,m not going to put my speed down, but the buell was maxed out?????

Some days you just get lucky.

After a short lap around the top half of the SI - travelling home via Wairarapa, about 20ks north of Masterton clicking along at 130ks plus, detector was quiet, no other trafic on the road except a group of 4 bikes riding towards us, wearing the same gear and methinks they must belong to a club. We drew closer and just as I waved to them I realised they were 4 cops on cop bikes.......... Riding in a tight formation like 'CHIPS' used to.

My mate behind said they waved back. That's all?? No flashing lights....... Nothing....... Laughed into my helmet for a few ks after that.

Luckily one of em wasn't Scumdog up here doing a refresher........

Oh come on, with that bald head of yours you'd look cute in a Bikini, I know Dover would pitch a tent just at the thought of you in a Bikini.

Where were you tonight? you missed all the action.

I think this dude is just lucky he got pulled over by a Highway Patrol cop who was probably so close to finishing his shift, he couldn't be farked with having to piss around with all the paperwork for impounding a vehicle and suspending a licence, resulting in him working longer than he had to.

But who knows, there may just be one half alright copper out there.

Had this guy maintained his original speed, he may not have been so lucky though, the cop may have looked at the situation differently. Good thing he had a detector.

Had one of the bikie cops been you Mr SD, I'm sure Mr Denill would have noticed the skull mask, even under a police issue helmet.

That's cool, just an observation...I'm quite surprised at how fast Buell's actually are. Rode a friend's M2 Cyclone last weekend. Was expecting it to be sluggish in the top-end, but, boy it was not !!!
