Brake discs

Does anyone know where i could purchase two brake discs for a NC30?

I bought a rear disc for my ZXR from a guy in Waihi - The quality of his stuff is okay but not perfect. As far as his customer service goes it is as shit as it comes. He lists on trademe often.

Cycletreads in Barrys Point Road sells discs, they might do ones for your NC30.

I've got a pair of discs from a 90 CBR250 that I was gonna put on TM. I had to change them when the stupid man at OnRoad NZ failed my bike, cos they were a minutely loose. What it was, is that they're floating discs, and they were floating.. He didn't like it, so he failed it.

Can't see why they'd fail a WOF done by a bike shop. One was starting to float, the other is sweet. You're welcome to see if they match up and go from there.. Not scoured or marked. Just dusty..

Failing that, I've been looking round for new discs for a bike I'm building, and finding them a nightmare. I stopped by Spectrum and bumped into someone who's found a person bringing them in from the US. On average, they're the same discs as OE, and around $130 per disc cheaper than the dude in Waihi. I've also asked that guy about my discs and I'll get them from there if this new guy can't get mine from the US..

anyway, my life story over..

My bike failed it's WOF today for having a front disc too worn (3.9mm thick, stamped as requiring 4.5mm thick minimum), and so I need a new or second hand disc for my bike (1988 NZ250) too. Wreckers worth checking, or should I go new?

If you've got a credit card, check out Galfer on Google. Galfer brake lines and disks are made in Spain and sold pretty much all over the world. The braided lines probably don't meet NZ WoF standards (I enquired of the US importer and was told they aren't marked as meeting any standards).
The disks should be fine.

There are some big "motorcycle warehouse" operations in the USA sell them.
